The long wait was over. On 30th Sep 2016, every cricket fan got a chance to witnessed the same excitement and atmosphere in the theater’s as Neeraj Pandey’s much awaited biopic on Indian captain hits the theater’s.

Superbly made movie with some great performances. Even if you are not into cricket or MSD fan, this biopic will make you fall for everything. A worth watch! We have always applauded Mahi for his cricketing adeptness, his humorous nature, tranquility and this movie will accord us ample comprehension into the person behind the cricketer.

The film is based on the untold life of the Indian cricketer and captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Sushant Singh Rajput who played Dhoni in the movie was simply exceptional. He has done an outstanding job with the lead character Dhoni, from his walking style to his batting. No doubt he is Bollywood’s next big thing. Rest of the cast of the film was also excellent.

The movie begins with Dhoni’s birth and ends with the high rise of the 2011 world cup. First half of the movie is all about Dhoni’s childhood and his endeavor life. His struggle to manage both, his job at railways and as Ranji player, and gaining support from the friends, family and his local coaches were the part of excellent first half. The second half of the movie talks more about MSD’s international carrier and his road to fame. Like all the other Bollywood movies this too involved love life. The movie ends with the epic six that Dhoni had hit in the final of the world cup 2011.

The story definitely has an interesting and inspiring flick. Despite of its length the movie keeps the viewers engaged till the end.
Strongly recommended for every MSDian and cricket fans. Go to catch a glimpse of the struggle and gigantic life of Indian skipper. Go for it! Worth watch.
