Chinese phone brand, Meizu has officially announced a comeback in Indian Market after 3 years. They have rebranded two smartphones and unveiled an entry-level mobile phone during the Meizu India Smartphone launch today at New Delhi.
The premium model Meizu M16th is placed to compete against One Plus 6T. While the other two budget-friendly smartphones find its competition against Xiaomi’s Redmi 6 models. Apart from three smartphones, they have also unveiled Meizu POP wireless buds and EP52 Bluetooth Earphones.
About Meizu India Smartphone Launch Event

The event was kickstarted with an introduction by Ramashish Ray, Meizu India CEO followed Leon Zhang, Head of Overseas Marketing. Later, they have unveiled M16th specifications and announced an AI-powered Beauty Algorithm, which is to be used in the front camera of the handsets.
The second product announced was M6T, followed by the budget-friendly C9 flagship.
Neeraj Sharma, the Country Head of Unisoc took the stage to announce that Meizu C9 will be loaded with Unisoc chipset. Unisoc chipset is supposedly faster than Snapdragon 450 chipset.
In the end, Nika Muraveva explained briefly about the brand new wireless earbuds Meizu POP and the Meizu EP52 Lite Bluetooth earphones.

Launch offers include a cashback of INR 2,200 and 100GB additional data on Reliance Jio’s network for the Meizu M16th. The cashback remains the same for Meizu M6T and Meizu C9, while additional data is provided is 50GB each.

Meizu’s M6T has been priced at INR 7,999, which comes with 3GB + 32 Gb variant in Black/Gold color. It is powered by MT6750 SoC Octa-core processor and operated on Flyme 6 OS. The M6T model is featured with 13 Megapixels rear, f/2.2 aperture rear camera, backed by 2 MP dual camera. The front cam is loaded with 8 Megapixels with a size f/2.0 aperture and comes with AI Beauty Algorithm 5.0.
Meizu M16th Specs & Price
Meizu’s top-end model M16th is priced at INR 39,999, which is competing directly against One Plus 6T model in the same price category. M16th sports with 6-inch super AMOLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and has a screen resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. It is equipped with dual SIM (nano) feature and runs on Flyme 7 OS on top of Android Oreo out of the box. Also, it will be one of the thinnest and lightest smartphones in the World.

M16th is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with eight cores, along with an Adreno 630 GPU. It comes with 8GB + 128GB storage and color variants of Moonlight Black and Moonlight White. It uses a 3,010 mAh battery with mCharge fast charging capability.

Meizu EP52 Lite is a Bluetooth Earphone which has 10mm bio-fiber diaphragm and 200-hour standby time.
Both the earphones have IPX5 rating for being water-resistant.
